Does the sound come out of both the front and back speakers? The head unit does not have any output power on it's own. There is a seperate amp in the front under the head or cd unit that powers the front and there are two amps mounted in the trunk for the rear. If you are hearing the radio in all speakers it's probably your head unit going out. you should be able to pick one up on ebay pretty cheap as the amps usually wear out first and most people just put in aftermarket units instead of replacing the reciever.
