ahh there it is

driveterain loss (rwhp loss from bhp pretty much)
stick-15%
auto-20%

stick:
more fun
better for showing off exhuast
slight bragging rights
edge over autos unless its a built auto
bit strong with mods
doesnt need to be kept up as much(maintence)

auto:
easier to drive
......um is there anything else?
oh if you get it built up its more consist...after you do a few things to it though
yea..thats it
and you can hold your gfs hand which yea..thats oh so important..(jk)

a manual is just so much more fun. MY mom wanted me to get an auto so i could "get a feel for driving" now I'm bored. I want a manual. I love just goin through those gears.

Yeah I cant stand when I have to drive my husbands truck, he has auto, and Im like yeah ok, now what am I supposed to do lol

Besides being bored, definately dont have the control like I do with my stick
wen i drive an auto i always go to press the clutch...and theres nothing there lol..and i reach for the stick and grab nothing lol. its pretty boring..

you have better control over the rpms. Say that you have a cruising speed that you like that on an auto is a shift point. You will constantly be upshifting and downshifting all the time, and thats a waste of gas. With a manual you can just upshift and lower the rpms, and save gas. You control when it shifts. Your car responds different at different rpm ranges. So you have a better overall control.

Well I got a shift kit auto and I'll easy take a bad stick driver and keep even with a very good one. I like it because of the consistence of it and when I get my turbo ( I hope ) I'll keep boost better.

But youd still rather have an auto?
Umm living in Raleigh yes very much so, and I have control over all my shifts just no clutch or anything to worry about. I have about a 200-500 rpm lag on my shifts but it is clean every time.

*cricket- I hope until I get a lot of money.

It all really depends on you and what setup you wanna go to. I pretty much have a bump shift which is I shift by moving through my gears on the auto shifter (1-2-3-D). If you wanna go to a turbo keep it auto, but if you want a 5 speed it is a lot more fun unless your in a lot of stop and go traffic then it gets annoying IMO. If you already have an auto look into a B&M Shifter and do what I did the auto - 5 speed switch will be hard and expensive.
