i was just outside tinkering with the car put a new accel coil in. go to turn the car over and it turns. turn the key off, turn it to on, then turn to start and and all i get is a clunk and all my lights shut off....:mad: i am so beyond pissed right now.... any ideas?

Start by testing for spark. Is the engine cranking normally or just a clunk and nothing else? might have blown a fuse somewhere.

it was turning fine, then i try to start again and all i get is a clunk.... battery is good, i'm kinda leaning towards the v regulator, my new blue and yellow autolite v-regulator......:mad:

hmm.. strange. well technically a voltage regulator wont keep the car from starting if the battery is fine.

:lol just came from the garage and....... i feel like a newb!!! ugh:tomato spot on... i overreacted cuz i'm down to a week to get the car running and dont need another bullshit problem! thanks man! i power cable got loose.... aargh i'm so embarassed...
