yesterday i noticed a very annoying noise coming from my drivers side rear tire (kinda like nails on a chalk board) i finally kno what it is the axle is somehow sliding out of the housing!?! :wtf how in the hell did that happen? ford is gona cost an arm and a leg... were talkin 400-600$... should i try n do it myself w/ my trusty Haynes repair manual?

i took it to ford just to make sure $400-600 was the proper assessment (i made earlier) and they told me i need a new rear end!!! BS!!!!! they said they could get me one installed from them (taxes not included) for $1986.29..........ummm........thats alot of moneymustang1072 said:
