As I do race my car weekly and drive it hard as much as I can the stock springs were on their last limb as well as the shocks that will be replaced by Koni Yellows soon.

A local machine shop has a coil compression machine and grader so I decided to go there and explain what I wanted from them. They based the diagram off 'Sportlines' but the drop is more like a set of H&R's.

This is the crappy cell phone picture I got when the first 2 were done compared to other springs.

Ride quality is like riding in a CJ or TJ Jeep but I grew up in both so its nothing strange to me. And the performance is amazing!

Location is Williamsburg, Virginia.

Photos taken from a Canon xSi and t1i. Last two are my cell camera last night...

That is really cool! I've never heard of someone doing that- on any car. Cheers man, on a job well done! :drink

Now Go get a business license and think about selling them.

I didn't specifically want it to ride like a jeep but to have a significant amount of stiffness and acceptable rebound. And the way it came out is just a little rough but it doesn't bother me.

Total it cost me $165 and some change. I got a small discount but that is still a reasonable price for 4 springs. I installed them myself.

And thanks for the compliments! Keep them coming!

No problems with the quote. It was cool to see it in your sig. I liked the movie too, 1) Megan Good , and 2) smoke's bike, to me, is the sickest bike I've ever seen.

Plus almost all of the bikers in my area were extras in he movie, so it was pretty cool when it came out.
