So Progressive totalled it out. I can't believe my damn luck. Jesus Christ man! I just can't get a break.
Really? That didn't look so bad when I looked at it. I guess the value of our cars is not worth that much these days. Are you going to have the option to buy it back? Don't you have a lot of parts on there?

be prepared to fight Progressive on the payout. They use actual cash value as determined by CCC who are notoriously shitty to deal with.

example -

Progressive Ins totalled my '01 XJ in 2010 and CCC came back with an offer of $2640......for a loaded XJ Sport 4x4 in pristine shape with 62k mi and some recent mods w/ receipts. I disputed, got a copy of their report and it was hilarious. They had done **** like writing up it had "mismatched tires" (the tires were a set of 4 BFG ATs purchased at once) and actually deducted $950 from the value of the Jeep for "condition adjustment" for "dirty upholstery and muddy carpet" even though the Jeep HAD NO CARPET and the seats were muddy because their customer slammed into my ride and pushed me off the road, causing it to roll 2x and bust a few windows...but just telling them that doesn't cut it. I had to find similar year/optioned/miled Jeeps that had recently sold on eBay and were for sale at dealers and submit 3-4 of them to CCC and Progressive for value negotiation. After I sent that fax I got a call 2 days later saying they were offering me $5700 and were sorry for the misunderstanding, the 215% "misunderstanding" LOL.

So Progressive is dragging their ass, go figure. God I hate insurance companies! If someone is at fault, then they should just pay up and be done with it! Quit beating around the bush with the whole nonsense.

Yeah that really is BS that they would do that, in my opinion, even if our cars are worth $100 if you hit it and it was totally your fault why should I have to cover costs or have to fight with my insurance, fix it and cover all the costs of the damage YOU caused...smh best of luck brotha

So Progressive is trying to give me payoff plus $120 They're not giving me anything to get into another car. And to top it off, I have to turn in the rental car on Monday.

I gotta find out more on Monday. In another sad state of affairs, I do have a new car, but it's a car that I have absolutely loathed since it came out. Turns out, the things I really hate about it are solidified, the others, well I can chalk that up to nit picking. 2010 2SS Camaro 6M. Got it for a hell of a deal. Considering my time frame, I didn't have much choice. I initially went to look at a Dark Cherry Red Metallic 09 GT 5M, but that thing was a total POS. So, I had to settle for this one. It's faster than I thought it would be considering it's stock. I have a '14, '15 Coyote both track pack cars and a new 392 Challenger fall to the wayside in it so far. It has serious top end pull. Hate the interior, mainly the radio area and the bland passenger side area. Still trying to get used to the size and heft of it. I can definitely feel the weight difference between this and my 3v.
