If it's sound you're looking for, flows sound really good on a GT.

If it's power AND sound, you want to skip on shorties and mids and go with long tubes. Otherwise, you're wasting your money.
Bassani Mids should be within 1-3 HP of LT?

I would say you go with the first one. I have it on my car and sounds good. I love the sound!

My buddies 02 GT has shorties with an off-road X pipe, and the magnaflow catback, it is pretty quiet at idle, and gets louder when you get on it, but it definitley has a softer note to it, I'm switching to magnaflow, I'm hoping it attracts a little less attention.

Lately I have been tossing around the idea of ceramic Mac LT with VRS SS X-pipe w/cats. Here is a comparison between Bassani X w/cats and VRS X w/cats
