Manual trans is the ONLY way to fly in a sports car :yes

Just the other day, my g/f and I saw a VERY high-end Carrera with an auto trans! I have never seen one and found it hard to believe it was even made! :puke

Ask yourself some questions first:
1. Will you be modding it moderately/heavily? If so, auto will end up with more consistent track times.
2. Will you be doing 1/4 or autocross style racing? I'd rather have manual on a autocross, but auto on a 1/4 for consistency.
3. Will this be a DD/heavy traffic driving? Manual can get a bit annoying, it hasn't annoyed me yet, but I hear others don't like it.
4. Is money an issue or resale value? manual will be noticeably cheaper, but lower resale as well.

last time at the track

12.40 @ 114.55
12.41 @ 114.38
12.43 @ 114.55

Bracket racing meh. heads up baby, get a manual. :)

Get a mini van if you want to bracket race.
you know what i mean about consistency, how many manuals do you see doing bracket racing? :p Just showing him what questions he should consider to decide, or at least what questions I asked myself.

I agree with you 110% percent.

I still say manual. :)

Its a no brainer. mustang, manual, runnin it through the gears, best sounding car, at some point in your life, it was a manual stang with a x pipe that made you want the car to begin with. bet.

Nah I was a Mopar guy through and through when I was young.

I have no idea how I wound up in not just a Ford, but my 5th straight Ford. :lol

Manual. This is my first stick car. It's super easy to learn. I got stuck in three traffic jams on the way of my one hour commute one day and my leg wasnt sore when i got into work but meh i guess thats just me. Also like 07stanggt said if you dont ride someones ass its alot easier to do. Plus your going to be going to a VA school. Most roads are wide open and curvy. They beg to be driven in a stick. As for the DD thing, just make someone else drive lol.
