I meant one pump. Does anyone know of any good tuner shops in the Houston area. I went to Strictly Performance for my exhaust and had a really bad experience so anywhere but that.

I'm running 463 rwhp with the stock fuel pump but I've got a pretty good tune .. It can be done but it's only temporary for me. It shouldn't be permanent for anyone.

What SC are you running?

Since I want only 400+rwhp, maybe a Whipple HO tuner kit would be best for me - point being I could save money by skipping the fuel pump or going with a less expensive boost-a-pump.

Has anyone ever got on here an said " my blower is a piece of ****, I wished I had never bought it!! "
I don't think so.... my point is just figure how much power you want to make and what supporting mods you will need and buy a blower.. that can accomplish your goals... I would stay with the tried and true brands but that's just me...
My blower is a piece of **** and I wish I never bought it!!! And Im serious. I hate Kenne Bell! I mostly hate their POS customer service and the fact they lied to me and ragged on my car. I have problems with the supercharger as well and it took 8 months to finally get it running right. I would go Whipple if I had to do it again.

I have decided that when the time comes to get my twin screw it is going to be either the KB or the Whipple. I can easily see how the OP came to this point. Their both around the same price range and similar in the performance range also. The two factors which, in my mind are the different deciding factors are; even though the KB may be harder to install, There are certain advantages to the way they set up the CAI which I really like. The other factor that is swaying me towards the Whipple is that 10 rib dedicated belt drive Steeda makes. That is the way we used to do it when we were kids. and you can always custom fab a CAI for the Whipple.
I'm thinking Whipple would be my choice, I've never run either one so I can't really tell you which one is better, just sharing my thought process on this subject 'cause it is a question that I have thought about for my own car and researched pretty thouroughly.

I've had great service from Kenne Bell since 1978. Jimmy Bell is good people and always takes good care of his customers. There phone is busy sometimes but they always do me right.

whipple ftw! i have no complaints about my HO kit. the gt500 fp is good to 550+ rwhp, so you can expand w/ this kit. heres something that might sway your opinion.

You could come up to Dallas and experience the rapture that is HPP racing:cool:
Countless cars I've seen around meets tuned by them you honestly can't go wrong.

PSI in webster is a pretty damn good tuning shop. Also Dyno Joe is suppose to be pretty damn good. I just learned Dyno Joe is friends with the guys that tune my car, Triangle Speed Shop in Orange, TX............What problems did you have with Strictly?!? I have seen a few cars tuned from there that run pretty damn good.
