lol...its getting painted..i was gonna get super snakes stripes painted on but i forgot the name of the guy on here who has the carbon fiber super snake stripes..so ima have to copy him later, um...cdc chin spoiler, gt500 spoiler, i had them delete the quarter windows just like the Mustang GTS-R(2007 Ford Mustang GT Side Photo), i got some interior upgrades in my closet along with a avic d3 i got off ebay for $400, and getting a dyno tune when it gets out, im trying to get the carbon fiber wind splitter and rods like stang skeleton(Stang Skeleton - Zeeshan Mohamed's 2006 Ford Mustang GT) but that may wait til the end of the summer for those..and to put on cap on this long post lol...get 305 dr's for my black saleen s types, the wait is due to the fact that i just got a deal on a eclipse gst in perfect condition for a steal so...

I never understood the point of a carbon fiber trunk lid. I understand the whole weight loss concept, but why would you remove weight over the rear axle before looking into things that would reduce the weight on the front end ( anything from new CF hood or CF fenders to something like a K-Member ). I would understand if your car was damaged in the back end and you could replace it for the same price as OEM parts but I wouldnt set out to do this just to do it...

Alright, I can see and understand that now... I just didnt see the purpose in spending that cash just to replace a perfectly good lid when the money could be spent so much better elsewhere.

believe me i would gladly spend it elsewhere but right now the shop is installing and painting any part i buy for free since the car is going to have to be repainted anyway

I tried to google some weights but couldnt find anything. I would say the factory trunk life ( without spoiler ) would be roughly 50lbs and the CF version would be aroun 15-20lbs.
