There is a local guy selling a 2001 GT Mustang. The Odometer reads 5,000 which is really low. Carfax doesn't show anything funny. My question is, is it easy for someone (not a dealer) to be able to roll back the odometer on new edge mustang, its digital so I figure there is no way this guy could have done it so it must be legit miles.

a Dealership CAN NOT change or manipulate mileage on these vehicles. The software does NOT allow us to do that. The dealership has to go through Ford Motor Company to recieve a new instrument cluster, and FMC programs the mileage into the cluster, NOT THE DEALER. Just want to throw that out there.
I have seen many low mileage cars around. Just do what everyone said and look at the normal wear items on a vehicle. Everything should look fairly new.
