That is the correct size slick but you can run a size wider. I have 26x11.5x15 hoosier qtps mounted on weld prostar 15x8 rims and they fit just fine, i cant wait to try them at the track. The tire you listed also will fit best with a 15x8 wheel and the backspacing you want is 4.5

Wider huh... Well what's the optimal tire/wheel size because it seems that everyone is running something different.

it also depends on the gears you have if you need a taller tire or not, you can go with a 28inch tall tire, especially if going with forced induction.
