Buddy has a 99 V6. He bought a CHEAP PEICE OF SHI* nitrous system from Nitrous express. Installed with the "proton" relay. His fuel hose keeps popping off of it and squirting fuel. From what he tells me its the 3/8 in connector. No matter what he has tried it wont stay on.

He tried new hose clamps, thicker or w.e. Electrical tape.

Whats it gonna take to keep it on there? He is stuck 50 miles from home with this and cant find anything to keep it on.

sparing a v6:eek:

but uh.. tell him too disconnect the whole nos system until he gets it home.. unless he's out of gas!

You have to cut the fuel line and T it with this kit, its popping off the T. How can he re-connect the fuel lines?

i had a problem similer to that with a fuel line, i went to my hardware store and bought a splice for an air hose (1/4" i beleive) and then slipped it in, and hose clamped the crap out of it. idk tho?

I would try to find a different barbed t fitting then the one he has. Then after I put the hose o I would epoxy the **** out if it, clamp it down while the epoxy is still curing, then epoxy it again. I mean cover the whole damn T fitting in epoxy.

agreed cobra.

or get a midget to sit under the hood and hold it on.

Make DAMN sure its on there good or the car might burn to the ground. Fuel onto thee headers will not make any power!!! It sounds like the wrong fitting are used. Either the barbs don't match the ID of the tubing, or you have some weak ass clamps. Messing with fuel is dangerous!!

So you have 40 ish PSI running through the 3/8 hose with 1 clamp on it?

I can only imagine what this looks like..

Hope he figures something out and gets it home.Make sure its done right next time before hes that far from home with no way to fix it.

He wants to rush everything. I didnt help with the install, i just heard about this. Then he tells me his motor caught on fire on the way home because of leaking fuel. No real damage, but damn he is such an idiot. Has to rush EVERYTHING.

Not sure. I did when he bought it, after he installed it, and soon to be when I see him next.
Haha, good and why isn't he a member so he can learn how to put it on right the first time? Or at least we could make fun of him?

i just dont see the need in spraying a v6?? :lol
I can't hate on a guy for chasing the magical HP that we all seek? :dunno
But, we can make fun of him for failing at it?

Idk what his deal is. He rather be on a local forum with not as many people that dont know what they are talking about then listen to someone with experience.

He is a ****ing tool sometimes.
