I'm wanting to get a cowl hood for my car but want some opinions first. I kinda live by the motto of go big or go home and the 4" rise on a cowl hood just looks like hot sex on our new edge's. I was gonna just get one with a 2.5" rise but after seeing a few pics i'm wanting the 4" now. I just wanna ask if it's a no no to have a big ass hood but a practically stock car? I do have plans for my car it's just gonna be a gradual evolution instead of just happening over night. I want to get the hood now so I might as well just get what I want the first time right?

A hood scoop is like choosing your preference on boob sizes. Myself I like mine bigger the better.:lol I thought it was a little much the first time I saw one but now I think they look awesome.

going with mybigjeep here. I was lookin at tghe 4in one but figured I am not running 9's to back up a 4in cowl! To big for street use IMHO.

thats right on the money IMHOi have seen such thing as too big a cowl...lol
i like this size whatever it is...could be a 4. if it is then i retract my statement. might be a 3"...dunno

on fox cars, i liked a huge hood, on our cars, 3" seems to be perfect.

that black car is a 3in.. 4in unless you have a some serious power to back it up and im not talkin about some bolt on vortech bullshit on a stock motor you just look stupid... and you honestly cant see over a 4in... i have a cervni's 3in cowl and love it.. cervins cowls doesnt rise as high but are a wider cowl and looks the best IMO

Thanks for the opinions and reply's everyone. I like the look of the 3" cowl also and most likely will get that one. I am gonna get something in the next few weeks just can't make up my mind on what to get though. I am stuck between a few options. BBK Longtube Header's and Offroad H-pipe,Cam's,100 shot of NOS, 4.10's,UCA&LCA's with subframe connectors or the hood. Damn I need to hit the lottery. lol Which would you guy's get? I have other mod's listed in my garage.
