if i had seen more verts like that one i might have baught one...

although, i hate the idea of cutting springs. Thats what a honda owner would do. With a good quality set of coilovers you could do that and still handle really good.

This is prolly the lowest mustang I've seen, air ride is the way to go. Now i'm coming from a mini truckers background so my thought may not be highly looked upon on this forum lol.

Put it on some bags and set her on the subframes!
Yeah, you can super slam it with coilovers. here is a pic when i was getting it setup.

I don't like going 2mph over tiny little bumps so mine is about 1" lower than stock.

I have eichbach sportlines 2 inch drop with no ISO's....Put a layer of duct tape around the pigtail on the bottom of the spring, this will help eliminate any sqeaks, without the ISO's in. If you go less than 2 inches you better get Caster and Camber plates installed also, or you will have tire wear issues.

Yeah its not mine, but someone I know from another forum i'm on for trucks. I know the owner traded it off for something else, but it was a mean looking car. Mines dropped 2" all the way around tho, let me find a pic.

Slownlow we need to hook up sometime, I live in Arnold (Barnhart Actually) You ever go to car shows around the STL?

ive been thinking bout the wingless myself. kinda what to get the 1/4 window scoops and see what it would look like with those and with our w/o the wing.

that car is too low in my opinion. maybe if the back was higher. these cars look too, how do i say this, ******, with the back too low

i have the H&R ss's with no iso's with 17x9's and 17x10.5's i hope you drive another car too though. if it werent for my cadillac i wouldnt be able to get to work or class because their are speed bumps at all entrances at school and work.

What i dont get is why you never see any slammed mustangs. I come from the BMW world, and you see tons of really nice slammed bimmers. i had coilovers on my last car and it kicked ass. It was very low and handled SSSOOOO nicely. And please dont cut your springs. They will rde like crap and have odd rebound rates and hurt your handling.
The difference is the under carriage. A mustang dropped 2 inches looks "acceptable" not slammed. However, its exhaust and oil pan are now lower than most "slammed" rice rockets. The side skirts of our cars are really missleading. There is a lot of stuff lower than them on the car.

Also, I definitely know of at least 1 show mustang with a 4" drop. I believe he only drove it on nice days on flat roads. 2" is getting into the relm of smacking your undercarriage on ****. So 4" is almost like a lowrider.

I say get airbags and get a 2" drop. Then you can really slam it when you want to, but not have to constantly be dodging cigarette butts.

My car isn't THAT low. But I think it sits nicely. I really wouldn't want to go any lower, I scrape my chin spoiler on lots of stuff :(

2.25" in front, and about 1.75 in back.
