This weekend i hope to get enough time to get the front aligned with the positive caster on the drivers side and neg in the pass side. Then opening day cant come soon enough

it helps with the lights and gives you a bit of an advantage. On launch, the left front is the first tire to start raising, with it set further ahead of the right, the tires stay in the beams longer, and you a bit of a head start before the timer starts

when we build a tube drag car chassis, that is all built into the front suspension

I love this! There are so many misconceptions about bracket racing, maybe this will help answer some questions. I'll be at Fords at the Summit as well. I did it last year and had a great time!
Hey O6VistaBlueGT, This wouldn't happen to be you in this video would it. This is from the Innaugural Fords at the Summit, Round 2 of the DOT class. That is me in the other lane. Looks a lot like your car

Yep, that's me. That was my first weekend with the TR6060. I was trying to get used to it. It didn't come off the line as hard as it did with the 3650 so I was trying to find my launch spot. Never did find it. Now I have the th350. I only raced a few races with it but my RT's were pretty good with it. Can't wait for the season to start again.

Yeah I can't wait either. I had a good time last year at Fords at the Summit. Probably the best venue that I've ever been to. I really like it alot better than the NMRA events. 4 classes and everyone gets equal time on the track. No waiting all day to run brackets like the NMRA events. I lucked into the runner up spot on Saturday up there, then got beat the first round on Sunday (broke out). What a difference a day makes.

I would recommend the Fords at the Summit to anyone looking for a quality event.

I race at Norwalk 3 times a year. Fords at the Summit, No-box Bonanza and The Halloween Classic. You won't find a better track anywhere. I hope it doesn't rain this year though.

+1 we use to go to the ten grand nationals all the time. I'll see if I can dig up a photo of the maverick from Norwalk

I'll be at the Fords at the Summit and NMRA Columbus for sure. Already got vacation scheduled to be at both on Friday. I just installed some strange adjustables front and rear on the car last weekend. Need to get out to some test and tunes to test them out and work on adjustment. Any of you guys have a ballpark figure as a good place to start on the adjustments? Like how many clicks for front and back. Full weight car with Eibach Pro Kit springs and CHE upper and lower control arms.

my rears are set to 50/50, 5 clicks, and my fronts are all they way down.

Well, had my first points day yesterday at Atco, NJ. Car was still acting up but was able to work around it. Might have finally found what the problem was too. Anyways the conditions got cold and they went to 1/8 mile for eliminations. I went 3 rounds in Street. My buddy who I normally run with at Maple Grove came up and won with his Mustang fox body. His lights got better as the day went on. Was a very exciting day. Unfortunately he didn't sign up for points haha. Well 1 race down, 12 to go.

Love those pics!

My goal for 1st track day is April 17th. I ran through the schedule I'd like to run this year and counted the days. It comes out to 72 days of racing this year.

That is racing every Friday and Saturday at Quaker City and every Sunday at Magnolia. I might not do the Friday racing at Quaker City. It will be hard to not go out and race when I know the track is open!
