Thanks for all of your guy's opinions. I will try and get pictures of the cars later.. i also forgot to mention the cars been lowered 2inch's all the way around which also may cause problems.. i think i'll look for different rims. Heres a picture of the momo's i found online.

Im not too sure on the springs.. it was from the factory.. my dad got it with the deal when he bought the car new.. kinda of a ill pay this if you lower it two inches:D

Ive seen some 19's on new edge mustangs and they look sick.. Depends purely on the wheel/tire, ride height setup.. Do whatever you want if it was me and i went back i would NOT do the typical saleen cobra fr500 wheels.. Be different and do what you want..

B's....

There is no reason the wheels will not fit, provided some measurements are within what works.

1. What is the width of the wheels?
2. What is the off-set/back-space of the wheels?
3. You should keep your tires to a max of 26" overall diameter!

Get back to us with questions #1 & #2 so we can give you options for #3. With that said, 19" tires are pretty limited in sizes due to lack of popularity. They are gettng better all the time, but still not great. You are likely gonna need a 25 series tire, so your ride is gonna be pretty rough on your drop. Raising your car back up a bit will help in a couple ways, so you may consider this as a good option. This will not only afford a bit more clearance for wheels/tires, but improve your ride quality as well as handling characteristics.

Jazzer welcomes you to MM's :)

Both of these. Wheel choice comes down to way more then just saying "anything bigger then 18's is not going to look good". I have seen 19's and 20's that look good on our cars. I have also seen 17's and 18's that look like doo doo. It is all about the wheel design, color(s) of the wheel and car, and the actual fitment of the wheel. I would say bolt them up and see if they what they look like.

If yu do put 19" rims the stock gt rotors will look like a cd. Also if the wheels were no made for 99/04 mustangs the offset is going to be way off. Also they shold be at least 10" wide because if not the tires will look very skinny even a 275 will look bad. Like others have said I would stick to 18" max. I have 17s in my mach 1 and I jjust got a set of fr500 17 inch as well. Waiting on rear tires. I personaly don't like big wheels mainly because it affects performance and it makes the rotors look like small psp CDs.

when i bought my 02 convertible it had 19's on it but they were staggered wheels and i couldnt rotate them and they looked good, so i lowered my GT with Ford Motorsports springs and put 20's on it and they Do not rub anywhere, i have 235/45 tires on them.....do what u want...sumbody wont like what u do somewhere anyhow...its ur car make it ur own!!

everyone keeps saying fr500's or saleens, lol.

Now i agree that they are good wheel choices and do look very good, but i dont think they are a "performance" wheel. Im sure the reproductions are pretty heavy compared to what a good lightweight wheel will get you. Its kind of sad because i can hardly find a set of lightweight road racing type wheels for the mustangs unlike when I had bimmers...

CCWs are lightweight right? and they look great. except they cost roughly $2238756549504305967215

Only 15 years old and you got an 04 Mustang GT for your first car. Wish I would have been that lucky...LOL. My first car was a Toyota Celica that was 16 years old and was about 10 different colors .

As far as what wheels to go with...do what makes you happy. You will always have people that say certain things look stupid, but then others who love it and give you credit for not caving in to the "norm". If you like it, then that's all that matters :).

Congrats on the car and welcome to MM!

Ya everyone has their own opinion, i personally wouldnt go over an 18, BUT like a few ppl said, bolt them on and see what you look like. Cars are made to customize and make it your own... so check'em out and see what's up. And Mell0 was right, an import dude would be drooling to have those rims, so you wont lose much money at all if you lose any at all...
