+1 chad. 15grand +/- for a high hp n/a car. yes imo i'd love to listen to the cammed car before the sc'er, but it's a close one for me. glad i have the loap of cams because i hear the eforce is pretty quiet

MM&FF just published the livernois results with ported heads, cams and the FRPP intake manifold. ON the chassis dyno (NOT THE rear wheels) the max hp was 430. Even with modest 15% drivetrain loss, that's about 365hp. NOT that impressive. I got 350 with the C&L intake and STOCK heads...

I got up tp the 400 rwhp range with the following mods
We were trying to get 400hp at the wheels on the stock bottom end and it was achieved!!!!!
Livernois stg2 cnc heads
Jlt 110mm cold air kit
BBK long tubes with catted X
Ac delete
JPC intake manifold
Frpp twin 62mm throttle body
Comp cam thumper II's with phasers
SCT Xcal III 94 oct tune
Steeda under drive pulleys
Steeda CMPD's
Ford Racing 39 lb injectors
Fore rails
Im sure with a better cam like the 127500 we would get a bit higher,
that is my exact (future) setup right there, minus the BBKs in place of MACs and 127500s instead of thumprs

oh and minus the JPC intake. i plan on using the stock intake. i figure some extra intake runner length (in the form of some custom spacers) wouldn't hurt.

If I ever want to go fast old school I will get an old school car...
66 nova or
69 gto or a
70 stang...
or 71 AMX

I like new cars with new power.. a little old 4.6 ltr kicking the crap out of a 100 grand Porsche... whining all the way... I love them both but 11.2 in the 1/4 is hard to beat

Just motor 12k, then there is the drivetrain to hold it 3-5K, suspension to put it to the ground1-2K, time it takes, b/c it NEVER goes right the first time(2K).
Tuning time , and drive/learning time. Dont forget to mention, THIS would NOT be a street friendly car!

And your car would be ready about this time next year!

:tomatoLOLZ.
Haha I know what you mean, I'm over $10k and my 324 hasn't been assembled yet. You forget I am on the 2nd built motor. I really do not see having an N/A car trying to break 400 rwhp when for half the price you can make a stock car put down 500 rwhp.

Truth, for the $ and the fun, if building a motor, build for FI. No doubt.

Most likely I will go S/C'ed when it comes time for more power. My SGT on has 4900 miles so I think I will wait for awhile before I go to crazy on it.
I wouldn't wait if you can afford it, your car won't know the difference between now and 10k miles later.
