:( the ricers here are pretty smart they see saleen and are like NOPE! the other half is like Hey man is that a real ... SAY-LEEEN I said NO and its said SUH-LEAN -- (SALEEN WHERE THE **** IS THERE A y IN THERE??? ... rant rant rant) you wanna run em??? NO no i was just curious ....... i havnt had a decent race since i put that kit on there no one will **** with me even the LS cars leave me alone! im like WTF!!! :(
Yeah, the only guys around here that are even willing to try it are the cobra and mach 1 guys. I even pulled up next to a viper and was talking to the guy at the light and before it changed he said " Be nice now ". I was thinking like WTF??? Your car can hand me my ass ten times over and your acting like you don't want to get embarrassed?

Hell, it ain't all that ya know. It's basically a gt with a sweet visual package and awesome handling skills. Yet people are scared to run em'.

What if you pull up to a V6 that's camming it's ass off and seems to have a lot of actual time and money put into it? Would you maybe try just to see what it's got?

I love when GT's pull up thinking it's an easy win and I either pull off the upset or stay side by side. And I've beaten my fair share of GT's in the 1/4. As well as taking a '99 Cobra in the 1/8.

exactly, just because it started with two less cylinders doesnt mean it cant be a power house.

if it seems like the v6 has some good amount of work done then yea, and it doesnt mean it cant be a power house, ive seen 4 cylinder fox's run in the 8's. just saying USUALLY i dont even waste my gas or risk getting a ticket over cars that think they are fast that are really slow. and i just dont really understand the autozone v6 stickers. i would understand if you were trying to make a sleeper, but if you were trying to make a sleeper take off the cowl hood, the street slicks, and make it quiet, and use the horse logo to make it really look like a v6.

yea but, hes not attracting mustang owners (would know its not a v6) hes attracting little hondas and acuras with t3 turbos and a ****ed up transmission that grinds half the gears, and their heated springs are falling apart as long with their front bumper ziptied on

Thank you I appreciate it! :D

It's been a ton of fun building this little sixxer so far. And I think I get more comments and questions at events with this car than I would have if I was driving a GT. Don't get me wrong though, my next build will be of the 4V variety. :yes

contemplating turning it to 2V instead of V6
Actually contemplating starting with a new 3.8L block, forged internals, and adding boost. Plus planning on buying a 96-98 Cobra for a DD. lol. Or perhaps a 99-01. And I still have stock heads on the sixxer, so there's a little more power to get N/A yet.

i meant my badges... cause its a 2v. but that sounds cool.

lol. My bad. I always liked how the 94-98 body style looked with no badges. Nice and clean. Or like some above mentioned you could go with the running pony/tribar emblem that many of the sixxers come with.
