Engine swap

So I am almost ready to buy my new PI heads/cams set and the appropriate gasket kits, but now I have a new idea. My Dads friend has a 4.6 PI motor with 60k miles and a damaged cylinder head that can easily be fixed especially if im getting new heads and cams, (im sure you guys can tell where im going with this). I am thinking of buying this engine and throwing my parts, and new parts on there so I would have a complete PI swap, I already have the PI intake. So my question is, would there be anything else I would need to get this engine in my car? You can even list the little things because I will need to buy everything, and I plan on doing this some time within a month.

Youll make more hp with a pi swapped motor then a PImotor

But you can boost the PI motor

you really dont need much. Some new gaskets and thats about it. Swap your harness onto the new motor. Your ignition and your fuel rails.

So it would be a wise idea to get the pi motor and drop it in, instead of just putting the heads and cams on mine right? Keep in mind I do intend to put a s/c on there eventually...(KB)

Yes if thats your goal then it would be very wise to drop it in as is

I just dropped one in, and it is so much easier to do. I would recommend since you have to take the heads off to get a Dremel and port match your heads up with your exhaust and intake its simple to do and will give you a few extra hps.
