nope only sfc so far im doin a lot of research before i tear apart the suspension. would you say the griggs gr40 with the sla setup up front is better then mm grip box with the strut setup?
If you're talking outright cornering performance, yes, the SLA will outperform a strut setup. Jazzer would probably be the best one to talk to about that, as he converted from Grigg's McPherson setup to their SLA after a test drive event, so he should be able to fill you in on first-hand knowledge to the differences in driving feel.

ok thanx rev i'll do some more research and send him a pm. reps for u!

so on my plan to make my mustang into one amazingly good handling car...my latest thing ive been wondering about is this....

extending wheel base!

now the MM tubular k member will push the front wheels 3/4 of an inch forward, and i can also push the motor back 1 inch :) better weight dist. u also have 2 mounting points for your control arms depending on how low you drop ur stang...not to mention the 18lb drop as well :) now MM also sells forward offset a arms, when used with their k member it will extend the wheels 1.5 inches forward...

CANT WAIT!

my question is is extending the wheelbase going to help ALOT or just a smiggen in improvment?

just looked up agent 47 SLA...i want....then i saw the 4400 price tag....

yea i would love to run a sla someday but the price may be too much for the gains imo especially since i plan on running a mm setup throughout

this **** never ends,

called up MM yesterday,
gonna go MM XD non adjustable LCA
bilstein sport shocks, MM rear coilovers 300lb spring (in rear)
bilstein sport struts up front, MM front coilovers, 400lb spring in front
stock swaybars for now
shorter swaybar endlinks

It kills me cuz i have tokico illiminias all around (selling) and MM tokico coilovers up front (also selling)

2000 dollars worth of suspension, and eventually ill be going to SLA up front up....

Ouch lol it really does never end.

I've decided what I have is good and the only thing now is to even the front to match the back.

Out back Ive got H&R springs (not sure which ones) and bilstein shocks (I think one is blown), and panhard bar, torque arm, and extreme duty LCA's :D Torque-arm Package, 1999-04 Mustang GT, Heavy-Duty Torque-arm, Adjustable rear lower control arms [MMTASS-13H] : Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader!

up front I have the same stock-ish shocks, and I THOUGHT the H&R's but they are black...not red. And then stock everything else.

MY plans: same springs up front, Tokico D-specs all around (or good road racing shock), then tubular K member and A arms

does any1 know how the eibach coilovers are??? lol thought i'd ask

My Knowledge is getting fuller by the hour on here

I'm wandering the same thing. I'd think they would be pretty legit...

Having some trouble making up your mind? lol its not easy to make some of these decisions haha

Im getting ready to overhaul my suspension, let me know if you guys think im missing anything.

03 cobra steering rack
MM Solid steering rack bushings
MM solid steering shaft.
MM Bumpsteer
New oem power steering Pump
Bilstien HD's
H&R Super Sports
MM Camber/Caster Plates
MM HD rear lower control Arms
MM Full Length Subframe Connectors
MM Sway bar endlinks and bushings
MM Pinnion Snubber.

I think thats it, lol.
As for brakes I allready have Front cobra brakes with hawk hps pads and MM stainless steel lines. I plan on doing rear cobra brakes in the near future. Just trying to get the car ready for auto-x in the spring.

is the pinion snubber worth it? dont the foxes have a rubber one factory?
id look into MM XD LCA's depending on what u wanna do with the car...
check the spring rates of the springs before u buy the bilsteins, depending how stiff u go with springrates u might want to go to bilstein sports...
