Well, I couldnt find the old post of this the custom panel discussion. some of you were interested in seeing pictures so i hope you read this post. and i will continue to look for old post.

this is just the cad mock up for now. this is being built into the center HVAC trim piece i ordered from ford. once complete, i will just remove mine and insert the new one.

i originally wanted a cover on it so you couldnt see the switches, but they said they cant figure out how to do it and have it look good.

still deployed so only way to show pics is changing my sig. sorry. i be home in about 65 days!!

There are several ways this could be done. The simpliest would be to remove that panel, cut out the plastic behind it, the mount your switch panel in there. Then, mount a hinge on the plastic panel you took off and mount some sort of push clasp or something of that nature on your switch panel so when you push the top panel down it locks it into place.

Its kind of hard to describe what Im thinking here but hopefully you get the idea.

i think it will be tight...except everyone who looks into your car will no right away what your running!! lol but thats not all bad!

its custom and youll be the only one with it which is pretty tight
