Should I just replace it with a cobra front bumper?

I park at a friends house across the street from my school instead of parking the school parking lot. Well so does one of my other friends and he got their before me and I parked right behind him in the driveway. Today after school I saw him looking at the front of my car and off the top of my head I new he hit my car. Sure enough he backed into my car! It cracked the front bumper pretty good, scratched it up, and dented it. Our parents know each other somewhat so we gave them a call. They're going to pay for the damage new bumper plus a paint job for the new front bumper. This week i'm going to get estimates on a paint job and front bumpers. After we find a decent price we're going to tell his parents what it would originally cost for a stock bumper. If the Cobra bumpers aren't that much more expensive I'll just take a couple hundred from my pocket to by the Cobra Front Bumper. I was going to put on a cobra bumper in the future anyways. Should I just go ahead and do this?

+1 on not to get the 03/04 cobra bumper unless ur car is packing heat 99/01 bumpers r clean on gt;s

I have a silver gt bumper chilling in my garage if u ever needed 1 just needs to be repainted... I bought an 03/04 bumper painted and shipped from pershing auto for 320... I also dont have an intercooler or the cobra side skirts and mine looks fine

I have an 03/04 cobra bumper without an I/C and it looks fine. Then again I have the side skirts/mirrors and whatnot to match it. Mine came with the cobra chin spoiler.

Totally right. Mine was looking pretty fugly before I got my termi sideskirts. Only bad news is the skirts are expensive or hard to track down. And while an intercooler isnt necessary it sure looks better. If you don't have one just make sure your lower looks good.

Weird because no Cobras ever came with IC sitting behind them. 03/04 Cobra intercoolers are under the supercharger, in the lower intake.

With that said, mine does not have a HE behind it and looks fine IMO.

As others said though, they look REALLY out of place without Bullitt or 03/04 sideskirts.
