Where to start..... I dont plan on gettin turbos, so I want Long Tube Headers. Procharger later down the road. The LT Headers that I have been lookin at are the MAC ones. Is MAC the only company that makes em for our 6ers? Does anyone else know of any other brand? Nothing nock off please. What I was planning on doing is going from LT Headers to a catted mid pipe, then straight back to cherrybomb extream mufflers. **** right now Im sitting with stock exhaust cut right at the Cats. Sounds beautiful. Thanks to Texas laws, we dont need any mufflers, must have cats and pipes extending past the rear of the car. Do y'all have any input for me out there. I was also thinking of geting a SCT turner and the Windstar kit off of Steve @ Vap Auto. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

it sounds like he assuming an exhaust runs $2k...because i didn't read about what else he can do...however his setup and my setup are completely different lol

LOL, you guys are funny. I know for a fact that exhaust doesnt run 2k. I'm sayin I have 2k to play with. **** tax time is uppon us!! I was wanting some good ideas from you guys about what kind of long tube headers. I also want to get a SCT Tuner and a windstar kit with this. I should have just enough left over for a Jmod. I will be doing all my own labor. I would rather go header midpipe, no cats, no mufflers and straight pipes thru. Right now i have no mufflers on and yeh its loud, but it sounds nice to me.

alright so far the mods i have are: BBK CAI, intake spacer from VAP Auto, thats all, I would like to work on my exhaust next. So with 2k to play with, I would like to get good headers and a good mid pipe. I was just tryin to get some good input.

It might take a while to get everything around, but you're going to enjoy FI far more than doing your exhaust right away. Plus if you're doing your exhaust yourself, it's going to be a lot cheaper than what most of us spent since most of us had a shop do ours.

Oh trust me I want to go fast, but at the track. For now I want to sound good while I'm using it as a DD attending UTI. I have plans, but want to do it in the right order.

Well I have found my deal. Mac ceramic coated LT headers with H pipe. Flow 40's dumped. Ordered the headers. that was 600 damage. still have 1400. hit a pair of flow 40s, 39.99, **** not bad. So it looks like I'm going to have some fun nex weekend when installing this. oh btw, I do have some money if any one is interested in selling any of their suspension set ups that they dont want. just curious.

I'm still in the Army right now stationed at Hood, looking to ETS here in June.
So I wont start till Sept or Oct. Want to take some leave. Eight years in, took leave 2wks at a time, 3 deployments...yeh I want to take a month or so off.
Well I already have the BBK and spacer kit from VAP. Definately lookin at the Windstar kit. Gears and LSD are on their way here
Thanks everyone for your input. I know that this being my DD I should only do some things... For instance, I want to get a procharger at one point, but only after I make it a project car and have a different DD. I have been asked before "Why make a 6er a project car?", I always answer "How would you like it if you got your ass kicked by a 6er drivin a V8?" Their tone changes.
