Mustang hood destroyed... now what

check craigslist. but theres a local mustang shop near me that i go to all the time. he sells used parts too. i could check with him on a gt front. i know he has a gt/cs front for 180

T money i would be really interested in that california special front end ive been looking for one do you know if he ships because i would love to get my hands on that. And umm what color was it because if its already black that would be awesome.

I have yet to hear any pre-11 V6 Mustang sound better than what can be done with a GT (although I still think pre-11 GTs sound better than 11 V6s, but the 11 V6s are sounding better than pre-11 V6s). Even the 11 GT sounds better than the 11 V6. Yeah, some ****tards like to rice out their GTs, but that's not what you should be comparing yourself to.

it is red actually. i dont know if hell ship. if not i could get a total price plus shipping for me to buy it and ship it to you

Well the body shop doing my repairs through statefarm wants me to just stick to defaults to make this process quick.. AS badly as I'd like to get a new hood I should just stick with the stock, hes repainting everything on the front end to which is nice, so everything will be matching and fresh and i dont have to pay a penny.



I got my first quote through their insurance and the fricken other repair shop was going to slap on old replaceable recycled parts! I'm like scre that, ran back to my insurance put down the refundable deductable, and said go fight it. New repair shop got me in good hands :)


Only thing i DO want to change up though is the grill, though id wanna probably replace top/bottom, the new stock grill costs around 365, is there a deal out there that could get me top/bottom grill for 365??

Or if i left the bottom original and changed the top howd that be???

If someone else caused an accident to YOUR vehicle, and YOUR not getting the parts YOU want then YOUR doing it wrong.

Wasnt doing it wrong, i didnt want to put down 1000 dollars i dont have for a dudactable on my insurance, but because there insurance is going to put used **** on my car, because i called them up and said what gives? their insurance claims,

"WEll if insurance companys payed for new parts when someone got in an accident then everyone would just be trying to get into accidents to get new parts" wtf?

So I put the 1k down and letting my company do the fighting and get what i deserve.

Sorry for bad grammer, a bit late here and i wanted to reply before bed.
