Ignition wires, oil change, air filter change and a bottle of Lucas fuel system cleaner will be a good start.

Go See Tony at Tuners Inc and have him tune that thing for running some Sunoco 105 octane.
With gas prices being where they are now I bet the Sunoco 105 is about $9.00 a gallon. The last time I bought some it was about $7.50 a gallon.

What is seafoam and how exactly does it work? I've always just used fuel injector cleaner...
I wish I could afford higher octane than 93 but not on a DD haha

My v8 stang is about to get it. My v6 had high miles and ran like **** when I got it. I changed the plugs it ran a lot better. I also cleaned the throttle body. But honestly It actually ran better after I sea-foamed it. If you have questions theres many forums dedicated to it. Heres the HOW TO

Also make sure you do it like he does it in the video. Pick that vaccuum line other people have tried going through the IAC valve and that's pretty dumb in my opinion but who knows.

No, not really, seafoam is supposed to clean the buildup on older marine engines and isn't necessary on a properly maintained engine. It definitely can help, though probably won't do much on a new engine. Things to look at/replace:
spark plugs
fuel filter
air filter
coolant
serpentine belt
clean injectors
COP boots and springs
spark plugs

Ahh if it's a new engine not so much I guess. I know a guy that had a brand new 99 mustang gt that his family bought and garaged it. It sat for probably 9 years. They seafoamed it even though it was brand new and it seemed to do that new engine great. (the engine had been driven the 10xxx mile breakin point or whatever though im assuming)

Isn't the fuel filter a pain in the ass to change?

It's not difficult if you have a disconnect tool. Check with your local auto parts store as they may have one for rent. Here's a walk-through: BULLITT Fuel Filter Change

My buddy i just talked to has one... That's not bad at all. I think I thought you were talking about fuel pump haha.
That guy is so monotone lol. Helpfull though.
