And I read your post mike...you only need new springs and retainers the lifters can stay right?
 
shouldnt you buy new retainers as well when buying new springs? or is it really not that necessary?
Sorry guys retainers as well.. I believe mike just used GT retainers where as I bought a new set from comp.. Both did the job

Edit: stock lifters are fine... Always a good thing to upgrade if your high mileage but I wouldn't say it's a must-do


Also I have been reading and talking to my buddy who also did a cam swap.. For the intake the pushrods need to be longer or you will get rocker chatter..

That info came straight from comp.



I checked my heads today and the intake valves had more valve lash... Weird huh
 
I believe the ls2 takeoffs go for that. Otherwise the 26915/918 can be had for around 130.

btw man, your car looks good in your sig. what springs and shock combo you running?

Well it looks like Jts running 7.48 in the 1/8 ~ 11.67 1/4. So ill just call it 11's. :)

Your still banging out those cams kyle right? Should need one soon
