Maybe a bad batch of paint was used back in the factory?:dunno
i highly doubt that... i bet the car just had to be repainted in certain areas and the previous owner cheaped out on the paint job...

So my car loooks pretty good from the front, back, and diagonally from the left fender, but then from the side views, you can see the different colored paint if you look for it :(

hahah owell. maybe i should just vinyl wrap this bitch

I know i'm late but that green stang with out scoops looks awesome.

honestly thought I like mine and I don't see much difference in the v6s vs gts.

besides one should stay on a v6 and one should stay on a gt ....
the only thing that should stay just on the car it came from is badges, and bumpers with "false badging" engraved in them.

Everything else is fine to switch up

The two are totally different...

And what's wrong with a v6 with GT side scoops? It's just like a v6 with termi hood, or a Mach 1 chin/grille....

Come on dude.... Not my thread... :no

nothings wrong with it! at all!

just my preference is my stock ones. I've seen the failed attempt of a switch from v6 stock to gt sides and they looked like a crappy ricer body kit.

but that is not what has influenced me, I just like the way mine looks. Some cars do look sweet with the change.

oh yeah nothing wrong with switching at all.

I just don't think I'd like my car with them switched. I do see a lot of them on google that look great.

So I listened to McQueen... I rattle canned the scoops... I just wet sanded them... Easier than my black wing project... We'll see how this turns out... I left my Meguiar's ultimate compound in my wife's car...

And the only termi part in my car

lol yeah, this guy talks about his car a lot (full of his opinions), but no one has ever seen it?

torch how did painting your spoiler go?

also meguiars ultimate compound is a waste, it has almost no grit to it, if you want a good compound i'd recommend adam's shr used with their paint revive, 1-2 combo works well. i was impressed by a demo of it this weekend. even did a side by side with my meguiars, adam's combo blew it away.

They're not 100% buffed yet... Could use some more polishing... I just thought it'd be easier to do that with them mounted already... Shade of red is pretty closeatch to torch red... It's cardinal red...

@Elias: the spoiler project was a total pita to do... From litle accidents while painting to the horror of wetsanding... I'm glad it's all done...

Welp.... Any comments?!

that turned out really good

what brand of paint did you use?

I love your car but I have to ask do you prefer w a wing that much more than wingless sorry for being off topic
