Thanks! my clear went on the hazy grey color like you said, especially when i put it on thick but after a while it went away as it dried. it did take a while though.

I bought a set of Prothane motor mounts off a dude for $40 bucks. Looking to put them in and hopefully cams this weekend.
I have a set of freedom racing mounts sitting at my house. They are basically the same as the prothane mounts. Let me know how the install goes. I haven't really looked into it yet so I'm not sure what to expect

Waited all day for

to show up.

Gonna install it in the morning and wait for the next pile of parts that is due to come tomorrow.

I washed my car with the new microfiber mitt I bought, worked like a charm (2 bucket method), then gave it a good polish (can't do wax cause of new paint)

I also dropped my bumper off at the body shop to fix my little paint excursion...=/ at least afterward my bumper will look perfect...

Picture is kinda bleh, but best I could do since its dark out...

Meguiars Microfiber mitt? I don't want to be the ball buster but it's not that great. It does not have much nap to keep debris from scratching.
Its not so much ball busting as helping a car wash newbie learn...:D After each section I did the two bucket method, then sprayed it with the hose before soaping up again...I didn't notice any damage while I was polishing, I had some fluorescent bulbs on in the garage and they like to show all imperfections...what should I use instead of that?

I've put together a list of products I want for a start to finish wash, polish, sealant and wax, and I think I'm going to just bite the bullet and order it...about $150 worth of stuff...ohh decisions decisions...

Is it sad that the thing I think most about money wise is my car? granted I'm still at home with my parents (I'm 22) and I don't have much expenses, but I always seem to think about what money I could spare to spend on my car...:D

EDIT: This one?? http://www.autodetailingsolutions.net/85-340.html
Says its only 9.95, 20 for three of them!!

I got the "PEAK" brand microfiber mitt, havent washed the car with it yet though. Seems decent.
I always 2 bucket it, and I rinse the car really good before I wash it to try to get the worst off.

Its also a white car. So I don't have to worry about it nearly as bad as my 3 black cars before this last blue one (that I sold)
