I saw this thread over in the sixxer section, figured we could make one over here. If your like me I get on here to see what other people do to there mustangs to get ideas of what to do to mine (and like to look at pictures!). Anything from performance mods to custom painting in the interior could be thrown around here. I will start it off... I added SLP Loudmouth exhaust to my 2008 GT over the weekend, I will add pics tomorrow!

does the 400-550 include paint and everything. also will they guarantee you won't be able to notice it from the top or under the hood.
I got quoted $250-370 for the hood including paint from two different places. One wants to paint to the edge of the hood and the other place said he can do a shot of silver paint and clear if I want to put the stripes back on.

The removal and install of the hood and bumper center stripe is $250. But it may be more depending on what needs to be done with the shaker scoop. I may have to pull the trim ring off to get the stripe done right.

Im putting the stripes back on so I really dont mind if the paint isnt perfect underneath my car has chips and dents in it anyways its not a show car and I may paint on new stripes once these vinyls start to fade and come off... we'll see.

I may or may not be leaving next week so if its fixed and looks good when I get back cool... if not then i'll make sure it gets done right. As long as it looks like it did before the accident and it holds up then im fine.

Pleaaase don't buy the STS turbo kit. They are so damn horrible...
Whaaaaa? I've heard both ways that they are bad and then that they are good. Not sure what to think. The guy is sending some pictures of it and has a youtube vid up and it looks and sounds nice. I just like how easy it is to install. Ive seen some decent rear mount turbo kits and I also like how I can keep my long tubes installed. The exhaust setup is weird and I really dont want my tone to change too much but with no mufflers and most of the time only flowing exhaust out of one tip is weird.

If I can run the turbo kit with the hot rods and 3.55 gears I think my gas mileage would go up pretty high and I could get some nice numbers to the wheels. My goal is 450 at the most I dont need any more... for now.

Installed Kooks 1 5'8 headers plus Catted H Pipe. Put on the Power stop drilled slotted rotors plus Evolution Ceramic brake pad kit. Burned the clutch at the end of 2nd gear shifting to rd : * Any suggestions clutch-wise??? Putting over 400 lbs of TQ to the rear wheels....
you can find a ton of info on clutches by using the search function. the info is there, but if you can't find it try to change your wording. if you still have no luck then make your own thread about it.

mcleod makes good clutches.
i personally have a spec 3+. this is the only spec i would recommend for these cars with any decent amount of hp
