well i kinda figured this was going to happen. but the 325/50/15's i got for free are to big and hit and tore up the tire a tad. so i was going to buy a new set of mt et street radials, but i didn't know if the next size down was still to big. which is a 315/60/15. what do you guys suggest for a tire size?

<--- Has window open too long :(

325/50/15" = 27.9" diameter
315/60/15" = 29.7" diameter

I knew it would be larger, as the tire is only minimal width narrower, yet 10% taller. If your car is not lowered, your existing tires will usually work, but off-set will will play a role for sure.

Do you have your fenders rolled? If not, this will go a long way to reduce/eliminate your current tire contact. Roll those babies and check for clearance again.

Jazzer :)

Roll up a fatty.... :shiftyeyes

.... I mean, roll them fenders for fatty tires :yes

unless your at like stock height or just barely lowered rolling the fenders won't help.

i had the same setup, rolled the fenders, and they still rubbed over certain bumps/dips...and the back of my car wasn't even that low. lowered maybe an inch.

btw, a 315/60/15 is like a 30" tall tire so that definitely will not work.

^ I agree a little narrower would be better.

roll the inner and outer fender lips and you will be fine. I have no problems with mine at all
