Dude, you have bigger problems than the tape. The diff cover fell off man. You should fix that. lol[/QUOTE]

Diff cover? Hell his wheel fell off!! haha

if its off now and youve been driving it, and didnt notice any vibrations, why put it back on smart guy

Jesus. Are we really still talking about this? Mine's off. If you are reading this yours probably is too. If he wants to put it back on let him do it guys. None of us felt or saw a performance gain by removing it to be honest. But I agree, it makes me feel better to have it off the car. Right or wrong he'd feel better with it on. So **** it, let him do it right? lol

I would have chimed in earlier too had I seen this sooner, I am not being a dick. But after a while I'd just give up.

And let's just all enjoy our cars and help each other do the same in whatever fashion they choose. ****, I watched that thing on Rodney King and I think it got in my brain...

AIR SILENCER??!!??

ACTUALLY i have been feeling a slipght vibration that i couldnt put my finger on...it wasnt in the wheels or in the engine bay. it to the rear of the car but just wrote it off as old car vibration. maybe the weight will help!!!

read that link ryan posted...a lot of people want to keep it on and have had wheel hop after removing it i have had wheel hop

put real control arms on the car

If you think that 10 lb chunk of metal is going to do anything for you in terms of wheelhop... you are sadly mistaken my friend. Just as sad as the people that would say such a stupid thing. Here's your air silencer that you better find and reinstall. The Ford engineers put it in there for a reason: QUICK! Is this the air silencer!? - MustangForums.com

Lol... i think i opened up a can of worms with that link.......ha ha

Any ways....if the dog bone has any purpose, its not for wheel hop. Is for harmonics/vibration in the rear end

^^ Hermonics are a bad thing.... if you have ever seen a wine glass break undur a certain pitch... i believe thats a form of hermonics.

Those same engineers also equipped our beloved mustang with cheap stamped control arms and to bandaid fix the wheelhopping issues from said cheap control arms they added some crappy quad shocks. Those guys were sure on point there ! Once you swap gears in the rear the dogbone isn't going to do what it was designed to do anyway but hey what do I know ?
