^^ what muffler do you run it with? I'm thinking of going back to chambered with MAC flowpaths and either an o/r x pipe or prochamber.

Thanks. The x pipe is going to be my next mod for sure.

Magnaflow cat back in m option is the best sounding after borla stingers but the borla one is like 750$ and magnaflow can be found for 350-400 or cheaper for a used set. I run the magnaflow off road true x pipe and the regular magnaflow cat back on stock manifolds and it sounds amazing crusing down the street and pissed off at wot. A h pipe will add hp and tq down low where the x pipe will shift the power band to the top a little bit and after 2500-3000 rpm you will really feel the difference: I'm working on getting long tube headers next and if actually heard that bbk onEs were decent compaired to pypes and Mac and pacesetters or flow tech.

How much is the BBK becuase you might be ablt to get a UPR O/R X-pipe for the same price

99-03 Mustang Off Road X Pipe
That's a good prize. The BBK X Pipe is about $220 in American muscle. Is the upr one a good x pipe?

i have the bbk o/r x pipe

when i first started doing my exhaust i first did the slp lm1 catback with stock midpipe and didnt really notice anything different performance wise, a few weeks later put in the bbk o/r x pipe no cats of course and the difference in performance was very noticeable past 3k rpms at WOT, you can feel the car keep pulling.

Hopefully with the x pipe I get that tone that I'm looking for. And at the same time I hope to see a little hp increase.

I had the BBK CAI and I have no complaints. For $65 I'd jump on that for sure lol.

And I also had the BBK o/r X-pipe and I loved it. Build quality was pretty nice..especially for what I paid for it. And paired with my Stingers, I got compliments everywhere I went on how loud and smooth and how good the tone was.

Really can't go wrong with BBK.

Witch is better, bbk or upr x pipe. With AM's discount code, thee bbk and upr shipped prize are about the same. I'm kind of leaning to bbk though.

I installed one on my friends Bullitt and he had the bassani catback exhaust and it sounded like pure sex, absolutely the best sounding x piped mustang I have heard. Thats a good price and you can find the 10 dollar discount code by typing in "american muscle coupon" on google. And yes if you want to get LT's you can go to a shop and have them cut the midpipe shorter to fit the LT headers... Dont mind the noob questions I have a lot myself...

The X pipe should give you more hp too like about 10... Im not sure about the prochamber like I have though...
actually the bbk midpipes are three piece design now an can be used with both. i have their shorty headers, o/r x, and then lm1's. i LOVE it. the first day everything was installed i prob made this black lady crap here pants. haha, i had fun atleast.

the fitment is great on mine (no leaks) and sounds great. i would recommend.
