painting is out of the question now man. I scrapped that plan when 2 valves dropped. Just dropped $28xx on needed parts so maybe next year

Did anyone else make it out to the street legals at Sabin yesterday? Didn't see anyone that I knew from here, but there was a white 83 Capri that won the quick 8 with a high 9 I believe, and also a new 5.0 mustang running 12.5-12.7's which was pretty cool, bone stock.

I also ran at test-n-tune in Minot today with my old 82 Capri RS. I was amazed at how consistant this car was. I made 6 runs today, a 7.79, 7.80, 7.79, 7.80, 7.80, & a 7.80! Not too shabby for and old crap motor & a 5-speed!

glad to see everyone is out and racing already, things are being delayed a little longer with the cobra down here since i kinda blew up my knee in a 3 wheeler accident last night so im going to be out of work for a while and unable to do much of anything while im recovering.

Just got back to town---gone 9 out of the last 10 weeks, didn't even know about the street legal drags until today...
7 of those weeks were down at March ARB by Riverside, CA. It's not a place that I want to raise my kids, but holy crap are there cars down there! I don't know where to begin with what I saw down there--went to Edelbrock, SoCal Speed Shop, and BBK to name a few. There are almost countless cruises, swap meets, car shows, etc... The only real sad thing is that there are hardly any drag strips left. The ones left are being regulated out of business because of over zealous idiots with their noise regulations.

I ended up driving my buddys 86 Jetta, 37 drivers total, i didnt make top ten, but i did manage to beat a slough of cars that were alot faster on paper including a few 2011 STis. Had fun, but im paying for the day on my feet with a VERY sore knee today.
