I just did a full tune up wires and plugs I used motorcraft coppers and 8mm plugs because they are thick wires for oem. My plugs and wires were the stock ones from 1998 they had the year stamped on them so they lasted 14 years and I didnt have a missfire. They are pretty decent I think.

I was to but I tried to order msd wires and only found universal sets they are all really long. I looked at a guys car here who had them they looked like they were all over the place and they were 80 bucks and then the coil was to. From what I understand to unleash any hidden power with msd or the like a tuner is needed and even then its not much but again I could be wrong. Also went with motorcraft because the standard msd wires are 8.5 and motorcraft are 8 so I thought eh close enough.

I just got a SCT Tuner from American Muscle. You can tell the difference in the car, also not having a governor is cool too.

Lucky lol but thats awesome so it might be a worth while up grade for you since you got the bama tunes for life. I would email them and find out what they think and see if they can write you another tune or tell you that its not worth it.

With Iridiums its not much of the performance, but of the efficiency it provides. Like already mentioned here, sparkplugs is not the place to look for performance improvements. But because iridium sparkplugs are great conductors (and have a smaller electrode tip), they don't require as much energy from the ignition system as an ordinary sparkplug would. In result theres a less load on the alternator and then resulting on a lesser stress on the engine to operate.

our cars wernt designed to run iridiums (complete waste of money). OP stick with Autolite or Motorcraft coppers.

General rule of thumb, use what your car was designed to run

Our cars werent designed and are recommended to operate only on 87 octane, but many still put in a higher octane. This is a complete waste of money since there are no power gains and can also effect it negetively. But people still do it since they are given that option at the pump. Get my comparison?

I have great experiences using iridium, do I really need to explain exibit A again
