Okay so now with the 393w carb swap I took out the engine harness. I am now down to the last part of the wiring and hit a small road block. I am trying to use a relay and tap into the wiring for the stock fuel pump so when I turn the key it will purge the pump. (I have an inline pump). We tested all the wires and didnt seem to get power to any back there. Any ideas? reps for help

We did check fuses

If the computer is gone... there won't be any power going to the box for the fuel system. Returnless system is controlled by the ECU.

keep in mind my suggestion is based on almost zero comprehension of electrical systems. I'm just tossing you an idea.

What are you using as a trigger for your relay? you need to find a wire that you can use for a trigger that does not cut off while you are cranking the car.

I believe I went with these four going into the relay.

-Battery
-Ground
-Fuel Pump
-Then one running to the fuel pump wiring harness(place where I can't get power)

I am thinking about just hard wiring my own power source to a switch now. I didn't really want to get alot of switches but 2 will be fine3

You have a dead trigger find you another source to trigger your relay and our pump should come alive again.
