That is the new intake. Apparently, your intake has been replaced.

For a 2000 Mustang GT the owners manual and the dipstick say to run 5 quarts of oil. Ford changed the recommendation to 6 quarts of oil when they went back to the Romeo motor about half way through 2001. The oil return passages in the 4.6 is somewhat small and it is possible to pump the oil pan dry during high rpm operation. That is why many of us run 6 quarts of oil in our Windsors. It doesn't hurt anything. It just reads high on the dipstick. As was mentioned before, some are running 7 quarts. The oil pan on both the Windsor and Romeo motors will hold up to 8 quarts of oil without interferring with the crank.

That is the revised the old design was ALL plastic.

OK guys thanks for all the replys.

What I'm gonna do is watch cylinder 5 and the others very closely to see if I get anymore coolant in them I'm hoping when the old intake was changed out that the PO never cleaned out the coolant.

As for the Misfire I'm having I'm gonna install my MIL elims later this week when they get here and then change my fuel filter and Plugs to NGKs and see how it runs then.

I would recommend spraying carb cleaner down in the hole when you have the plug out. Also be sure to take the rubber boot off the coil and make sure it clean in there also. I had the same issue and ended up having to clean every spark plug passage thoroughly to get any residue out.
