Finally pulled my motor to see the damage.

And I found this...

Along with a quater sized hole on the other side and a couple good dents in the oil pan. havent dropped the pan yet, but im sure its a mess. Heads and cams should be here this week, then goes the teksid block and new internals to the machine shop.

Just read your other thread :( what cams did you end up going with?

But seriously. That's probably the biggest chunk I've seen knocked out of a modular block.

same here. Ive seen holes and what not but not a chunck this big and the two rods you see just in the hole arent the ones that broke. Number 2 broke. and must have throw a chunk between these rods and the block to break that big of a chunk out.

What heads did you go with? (Did they talk you into 44cc or did you get ported stockers?) Also, what are your Stage 3 Cam specs?
