the jlt is plug and play separator. only thing you should do is add some copper brillow pads inside. if you don't the oil doesn't have anything to grab onto and it will still just flow right into your intake

I made one myself, pretty easy.

I had to do something crazy when I put my moroso one on, its pretty getto.

I run a mishimoto one. I wouldn't recomend it really but I think a catch can is a defenately needed mod

^^^ My moroso was creating some sort of restriction so my PCV valve wistled, I had to put a breather on the filler cap then put in a seperator on the passenger side and plumb that end into the end of my air filter so all the air was metered.

Did you route the tube from the passenger side cover to the intake before the MAF? And then what did you do to the driver's side tube?

The tube is before the maf, and the drivers side is still plumped with the moroso, works fine now, no wistle and I have power now unlike before.

I'm glad you actually thought about plumbing it before the MAF, most folks wouldn't have done it right. Two minor things concern me though. One, even though you have an oil separator on there I wonder if you're gonna foul up your MAF sensor at all. And two, if for some reason you have enough manifold vacuum and some crankcase pressure you will open the PVC valve and then draw unmetered air into your engine. I think the second concern is a remote and far fetched one but in theory it could draw air through the breather and into the motor without going by the MAF sensor. I really don't think that that will happen because once you opened up the system with the breather it kinda just makes the driver's side PVC useless and it just sits there.

My other kind of odd question is why didn't you just continue with the breather route and get rid of all the extra plumbing?

I run breathers instead of the catch can. I did because I did not want anything to be recycled into my engine.

Me too. I've been running breathers since 1980.

Smell mainly, and other stuff, and the fact that I bought the moroso sep. and I wanted to work, and honestly I have soo little oil in my passenger side I see the dirty maf a non issue, and all the extra plumping might sound alot but I just go some vaccum line like 6 feet, and ran it from the passenger side sep. around the back of the motor, next to the strut tower, then into the air filter.
Its not noticable unless I pointed it out and you really knew alot about 3vs.

If you look below you should be able to see the hose I have going into the filter.

On the last pic you can kinda see everything good, The moroso one is that one attached to the drivers strut tower, and if you look by the fuse box on the passanger side, you can see a little shiny metal thing, thats the one I made.

Then to make my own I used a Air compressor Moister Filter and I found one that had a screw top, and machined scrap piece of aluminum and put a hole with threads in the underside.
