We're done now. I have begged and pleaded and explained for people to have fun with this contest and not take it seriously and not be rude to other members. I'm no longer going to bother explaining stuff in regards to ROTM. It's astounding to me that people take an internet contest so seriously.

It's one thing to have an opinion, but to disrespect others who have put so much time money and effort into their rides, that's unacceptable.

My 2 cents is to not take away rotm etc, just have zero tolerance for bullshit like that in these threads / contests

I agree. We don't like to be that way at MM, but that's the way it's going to have to be I guess. We'll see how the contest goes in the future, but my patience is wearing thin.

I see both sides of keeping vs not. Like how childish can one be to get so worked up over something simply for fun. It's not like the loser's car gets burned at the stake.

It just kinda sucks if ROTM get pulled for newer people. Its something we can aspire to participate in...but if people want to be rude and obnoxious then I guess thats the way it has to be.

Don't worry guys. We'll just be stricter about it. And I ask anyone reading this one last time, to please remember this is just a fun contest to promote activity on the forum, and to show appreciation to ALL the fine rides here through fellow Mustang owner's opinions. Nobody is winning a million dollars here, and the beauty of this thing is you can be nominated over and over again if you don't win.

Really... all we want is to see people having fun and enjoying themselves here. So if you're so competitive that you're not going to be able to do that, please, by all means decline your nomination if it happens, and no hard feelings will be had.

I really couldn't believe I stood a chance, I have put alot of time,money,work, sweat and tears into my car. However, I realize people I was running against did to. I am happy and honored to be Octobers rotm. Just sucks to be bashed on like that, don't want to sound cheesy but getting called a pos kinda hurts

Don't let it get to ya. Just remember how much you like your car. If that isn't enough, remember all the good comments made about it from other members and all the votes you EARNED

**** that noise. This coming from someone that voted for someone else... first, it shouldn't be in here (the hate) but more important.. ignore that ****. You get one asshole whos probably jealous his car isnt as nice so he is going to rip other peoples. I really don't enjoy even saying that cause, in a way, I am ripping his car and it looks fine. My point is, not everyone is going to like everything they see. Most people have the decency to keep their mouths shut but there is always one. And the one is usually who ruins it for the rest. Then they go away and we are all stuck with the consequences.

Don't worry about it hun. One thing with the internet, there are always going to be people who like to talk **** for whatever reason. Try to focus on the people who act like normal human beings. :)

Why not send the aholes that start drama in rotm on a little vacation from
The forums??? Just a thought.

Other forums I'm apart of do this. You start drama or don't obey rules it's a week vacation for first couple offenses. I it keeps happening its perma band..

This is my view on this. But either way all the cars I've seen in rotm are nice. There is a reason they are in it to begin with
