I just might have to look into that. Could always use some extra cash. :baller:
Where did you find clients?
Mostly friends and family, like my Girlfriends friends husbands brother...lol just bought a brand new Camaro SS convertible. They are gonna talk to him about doing his car, and about racing me lol.
Once i talk to someone about detailing and how paint should be protected and some of the things i can do, if they have the money they are pretty on board with getting their car taken care of, it really depends on the person, if someone doesnt car about their car, they thing spending 2-400 bucks on detail is insane, but people who car and want to protect their vehicle think its a great investment, which i agree with.
I can sell the non car people on the nano coating since its such a low maintenance paint protection.
I also do headlight restoration, which i have 2 pending right now, both coworkers, i saw their gross yellow headlights, i just tell them that i can fix it, explain to them that i charge the same as walmart but my job will last years, not 3-6 months, that usually does it. lol
I threw away the stupid part that broke or I would send you a picture of it, it was just a cheap one but I still have the bottle lol. Only reason i'm not upset is b/c it was a cheap one. It was pushing out foam so I tried to adjust it then when I tried to un-adjust it I broke a part in the plastic/feed part of the foam gun.
Time to upgrade, PWmall.com get a Mecline professional foam lance, thats what i have, it was 75 bucks and its STURDY.
Get a real one if you can afford it. Like mtm i think i saw one going for 50 something. My foam cannon was 119 from ag
Shits expensive but its worth it. Especially if you already have corrected your paint
Whoo thats pricey. well worth it if you keep your paint swirl free tho.
Working on correcting the paint as we speak

. Do you not have to use a wash mitt if you have a nice cannon/lance? I see how ridiculously thick/sticky the foam is from CGs video's but do you still use a mitt?
If your car is just dusty and hasnt been rained on you can probably get away with foaming your car and pressure washing it really well. But if anything is really stuck to your paint then just a foamjob wont get it off.
Now that my mach 1 will only ever be a little dusty, im considering doing "touchless" maintenance washes. Ive done it a couple times on my mach 1, the real advantage is 1-you cant swirl your paint, 2-It doesnt effect your LSP at ALL lol. Because their is no abrasive rubbing action to your wax.
Even then i would probably still hand wash every 3rd wash to help maintain a containment free clear coat.
