:wtf I'd love to hear how you would go about aligning the car without the K-member installed.
I wanted to say the same thing, i don't get it.

and i tried taking it for an alignment without the k-member but my car just slid around and made a whole lot of sparks and wouldn't turn
:funnah

I saw that ninja edit. :)

My camber is set at -2 on both sides since I couldn't get the right side to align the left was fine...figured it would be best to have them both the same. I have max Motorsport Cas/cam plates completely maxed out. I asked the shop about camber bolts and they said they wouldn't recommend them because they break easily? This true?

Is -2 really bad? Everything else is fine though

I have a very similar situation on my car, I also order the Eibach camber bolts.

I did read that they are not as strong, but unless you are auto-crossing or something, I don't think I have much to worry about.

I'm running tokicos, I've read there better for a lowered car, as well as using foxbody struts?
i haven't heard that about the fox struts, but i've heard that 4 cylinder fox springs give good weight distribution for drag racing

and yeah, i hear the tokicos are good too. i was planning on getting new struts when i get new springs though (H&R SS)

I think this is a contributing factor. I have the exact same problem as you do, except a little worse. The previous owner of my car installed Autozone brand struts for a FOX body on a NE. The expanded length of the a FOX body strut vs. the expanded length of a NE is 24.1" to 20.69". The car has not been in any accidents and all suspension is stock, other than the struts being from a FOX. So I decided to purchase the Tokicos instead. There is a noticeable difference strut length and in camber now and I think it is now within adjustable specs however, this would be pushing it to the MAX adjustment. I decided to order camber bolts as well before alignment to allow more adjustment. I believe whatever they do to the strut to make it better for lowered vehicles plays with other variables in alignment. I'll have my camber bolts tomorrow and will align on Friday to see where I am in specs. I am currently at -1.3" and -1.5" camber at max adjustment on my UPR CC plates. The camber bolts are supposed to give max +/- 1.75" of adjustment so it shouldn't be hard to tell if the difference is strut lengths makes a difference.

I'm running the SS's on Bilsteins and can't complain. I went with the shocks for a 2" drop and don't have any problems. Installed cc plates at the same time. Went for an alignment and the guy said it was close enough that he couldn't get it any better. It's a nice begging setup if your looking for a suspension upgrade.

If your planning on getting drop springs, I wouldn't worry too much about your alignment because as soon as u drop it, your gonna have to do it all over again. Get all the suspension done first, then worry about aligning it.

i'm aware of that, but it will be several months until i buy springs, so i'm planning on getting it aligned twice. i just want my car to be driveable so i can race it soon
