I used mine when I was on a hill or whatever when I still had my auto :dunno
Of all the automatics I've owned, I've never has the knob wear out for park. I do use the parking brake when I park on really steep hills (like my parents' driveway when we visit) and I always used it when I had my 5speed, but I'm over 175k miles on my Lumina right now and park holds the car in place just fine.

This six section sucks, and is getting worse day by day. I try to post like a mofo to help it out, but I also have a life, wife, family, pets, mortgage, bills, work out of town, all that stuff. I feel like a lot of other 6 members have given up because its "easier and cheaper" to sell a six and get a gt before they even try to do anything to their six. F that, ill just post my pics and keep buying stuff from the members that actually sell on here and don't screw people over. I'm tired of the nut swingers and piss flaps all over the place that know everything and don't answer real questions but say why theay are so cool. Yet they just say others are dumb for not knowing.

The only thing from keeping me out of a GT is the motor. If i had a chance to get a 94/5 5.0L, id get one in a heartbeat. OHV > OHC. Id get a fox body 5.0L but notchbacks are a rare car up here.
