Look on YouTube for STLmustangs 9/11 memorial cruise. I wasn't there but it was huge!

yeah its a big ol' trans cooler lol...good thing i have no intercooler up front. i just ran factory metal lines up pretty close to the cooler and then rubber the rest of the way.

shelbydog, thats a nice write-up
Me as well I double clamped the lines although it does bother me from time to time thinking they might pop off at the track or on the highway with my slicks on.

Hey just let me know. I'm 2.5 hours away from the Stl.

Hey Sarge, does the trans cooler sit right on the intercooler? Like does it restrict flow to the fmic? Since Ill be needing a trans soon I might as well learn about coolers now too, its looking just as you said, $2500 or so for a reliable and strong trans is about what im going to have to drop so I def wanna keep the thing alive

Everybody I have talked to mounts it right behind their intercooler. They are fairly skinny, I don't see with the size of mine that it should effect too much.

I dont have any issues with flow the wya I have everything staggered. The trans cooler actually pulls in air from the front grill so its always getting good flow.

Weeellll, I was going to buuutt Bob told me that it wasn't going to help anything out, that the car would idle rough, gas mileage would be lost. Sooo I sold it.

He would have just tuned for the Delete Right? I have the EGR delete whenever he started tuning my car.

Thats what I was thinking SSG, that as long as the egr is turned off via tune, kinda like post cat 02s, the car would run fine. From all the reading ive done, it seems like its more for looks and only beneficial on boosted cars due to no hot air going back into the system but i was thinking to just do it to clean up the engine bay a little more for shows. I dont mind not getting any benefits as long as it dont cause any issues. Im not worried about gas mileage really cuz once shes boosted Ill only pull her out on weekends and nice nights

I know. He just steered me away so I let it go. I'm too easily persuaded lol.

Egr is emissions based. I had to delete mine. Looks cleaner ad just less bullshit to deal with later on.

I only wanted to do it for cleanup.
