Sooooo this saturday, a buddy and myself are powder coating my stock bullitt rims. we are gonna leave the lip silver. AND my sequantials from AM came in today too. i havent put them on yet because im still at work, but im actually pretty excited about it even though i wont be able to see them when im driving....I'll still know lol. I really want to offer powder coating to anyone on here, but i think the rules state that we cant advertise unless we are a supporting vendor on the site. So i will just attempt to shy away from that, but i will def post up some pictures or the finished product on sunday when they are ready to be mounted back on the car. im gonna be doing them in Matte Black, unless everyone thinks gloss black will look better against Torch Red?
Go with black....

I'm a craigslist bandit for deals like that lol
^ Amen to that. I found a used tire warehouse near my office. I walked it and asked if they sold to the public. he said what size, I told him, he called in spanish on his radio. 3 mins later a guy rolls up with to pirellis in great shape.

Thats what I call service. Ill be burning these shitty kumho's off soon and getting some more used goodness.

Either is fine! Just make sure you match the black to any existing black accents you have on your car. If you have matte black accents then go with matte black wheels, if you have gloss black accents then go with gloss black wheels.

Find out how much for a set of 4 235/50/18s and I'll pay you to get and ship them lol.

Should be $100. I'll swing by next week and see what they have man.

Don't get your hopes up, the pirellis suck too.
They aren't great, but there are a lot worse out there. The kumhos have the softest sidewall ever. The car sways the whole time on the hwy. I had Pirelli's on the rear that I burned to the threads last night when my boss asked for a burn out.

For $25 they're awesome.
Moral of the story ^^

F u... Just payed 468 a tire lol.. Michelin >
Man that sucks!

Oh I mounted those pirellis, and washed the car finally.

Any tips for installing my phb on sunday???

Use a wrench. And a grease gun. And a torque wrench.

In all seriousness, it's probably easier to install than a CAI. It's two 18mm bolts. Use a 1/2" wrench because those suspension bolts can be a bitch if they're painted with Loctite from the factory like mine were. I didn't use a plumb bob to adjust it, I just eyed it. Adjust it to be the same length as your stock one before putting it in. Pay attention to the grease fittings so that you install so the fittings are accessible when you go back later to re-grease it. Make sure you torque everything to spec. PHB bolts are 129 ft/lbs.

This guide is actually pretty solid: http://1.cdn.lib.americanmuscle.com/files/49606-cust.pdf
