OK so I have a 2008 GT. ( Saleen Supershaker installed) and has been working for over 3 years no problems.

problem:

I am not getting fuel pressure, I don't even hear the pump energize.

when I turn the key on I briefly get my mileage, then its looks like this ( -------)

and I hear a clicking in the bottom right, passenger side fuse panel.

I took a multimeter to the all the lines from the trunk going to the the pump itself, they all have power. Im really for a loss of words don' know how to further trouble shoot this.

1 step ahead of you. i just installed the svt dual pump today. still same issue.

which leads me to believe the stock pump wasn't bad.

Did you check the red fuel pump rest (cutout) button on the driver's side kick panel?

How about the fuel pump fuse?

Any codes being thrown?

fuses are fine,
tryed the resset switch just now again. and nothing.
i think it has something to do with the ( --------- ) where the milage should be. I think this mean the PCM is screwed some how.
it wont even crank over. i think the computer has lost its memory or fried.

what happened -time line->

Tried to start car in the morning and nothing. all it would do is crank over because of no fuel pressure. So i gave it to the dealer told them what was up, they couldn't figure it out with 1 hour of diagnostic charge. and wanted to charge me 3 more hours, so i told them to fu** off. ON TOP of this they flashed over my Saleen tune (Back to stock) with out asking me first, which i feel is a big no no, becuase they " Couldnt get their computer to communicate with the car"... so i brought it home on a trailer, and it sat there till i had about 1000 saved for potential repairs. I got some time to test it like 2 weeks ago, saw i WAS getting power all the way to the pump but it was not energizing, so i assumed the pump was dead. Bought the Dual SVT pump and installed it yesterday, finished the wiring today. Now it wont even crank over and i tested the wires again leading to the pump no power when i turn the key over, and gives me this new problem of the (--------) on the dash.

hope this time line helps.

Have you tried to hot wire the pump to see if it actually pumps? Did you replace the fuel pump modules when you put the nes pump in/

if someone could confirm those dashes (-------) where the mileage should be. id love just to know what that means.

Well I'm afraid I might have to agree with you on the PCM. Happened in my Lexus once but they called a CCRM, I think. Anyways, it's either not getting power or it's not communicating with the car. Double check all the connections too it and then maybe see if you can find one at a wrecking yard because they can be kinda pricey.

If the PCM was blank or broken. Would the car not attempt to turn over when I turn the key?

Depends on what is wrong with the ECU. It could be a physical issue like a pump driver not working. Or it could be a firmware/tune issue. Now that the Ford dealership overwrote your Saleen tune it will be harder to find out what exactly is wrong.

The above is, of coarse, assuming it's actually the ECU.

Wow...dealer fail.

Can you flash your Saleen tune back on? Try a new battery as well in case the battery is the issue - fully charger battery...re-flash tune...try again.

Also...try unplugging the connectors on the ECU and plug them back in in case one is loose.

Anyone think it could be the pat security system? Just shutting everything down? Anyone have links to how to turn it off?

Well I'm gonna go with ecu then, my company had something similar with a charger of ours, turned out the pats system failed and wouldn't release the fuel pump and they had to replace the entire ecu

See above post lol try hitting the unlock button on the key fob and if there's any changes when cranking

OOOOOkay! its running.

the dashes (-------) meant NO pcm.
after being super frustrated, i double checked all the fuses again. and all my wiring. the 5 amp fuse was blown for the pcm. switched it out and everything worked, pumps energized up.and it started.

yay. thanks everyone for the help.
