I saw this thread over in the sixxer section, figured we could make one over here. If your like me I get on here to see what other people do to there mustangs to get ideas of what to do to mine (and like to look at pictures!). Anything from performance mods to custom painting in the interior could be thrown around here. I will start it off... I added SLP Loudmouth exhaust to my 2008 GT over the weekend, I will add pics tomorrow!

Picked this up just a few minutes ago from a Craigslist ad for $30. OEM and no broken tabs or cracks. Chyeah. Just cleaning it up a little and it will look brand new.

Wasn't the shelby your dads? I have not driven the new GT500's. But with those limits being so hign, I hear that its hard to find its limits on typical roads lol.

Yeah, but I bought it off him a few months back. Now I am selling it since I never really use it to its 718rwhp capabilities lol. Have a 4.0 mammoth sitting in my garage that was supposed to go on, now I am just selling it all.

I do like it, for the most part. Except its not the nice one that you can buy on AM with the oem-style honeycomb. This was originally stainless (I think, along with the mesh in the hood scoop. I hated it so I plastidipped it the 2nd day I had it. And secondly, the fog lights don't fit properly and one is point way to high for a fog. I can't adjust it because they don't fit properly. I might black the pony out so it's a little different than all the other silver mustangs on the road

i did the same thing youre doing now, i had the elanor grille and ditched it because i was getting tired of the fog lights. i put the stock grille on and plasti dipped the whole damn thing (wish i wouldve known you were looking for a stock grille, i wouldve just given you mine). i dipped the pony, and the fog lights black and it looked awesome. then i just bit the bullet and got the retro billet grille and emblem and it was the best visual mod i think ive done on this car honestly

No, the timing for the mods ahhahaa. If it was late july, I'd throw cams and exhaust on.

I wasn't necessarily looking for a new grill, but was checking out Craigslist and figured for $30 I can switch it up. I have to replace the fog light bulbs anyway, so I figured id just do it all in one shot.

Makes sense. I honestly don't hate the stock grill set up.

Hahaha I am sure you would! Just got word that my offer for some land got approved, so my next house which i am making my dream house is gonna be getting started on building. Gonna have a 2 story, 40x40 shop, with an apartment upstairs, full air tools along with 2 hydraulic lifts minimum.Ahhhhh, makes more sense. I'll be glad to baby sit the Shelby until its sold

FINALLY fixed my clunking in the front. Should have never taken the alignment shops word when they said it was the strut mounts making the noise. The top of the of the driver side endlink was really lose. Of course they'll say that. It feels like a brand new car now. My own fault I guess.Then, I tinted my front turn-signals and changed the oil.

Same thing happened to my car.. the shock was totally loose and was clunking like crazy. I must have tightened every damn bolt EXCEPT that one.
Today I attempted to fix the leather door inserts..they're starting to come off. Delicate **** like that just ain't my thing..I gave up after the drivers side. Taking it to a shop tomorrow then, right after that, it's getting delivered to it's new owner. Finally sold it :banana
