So I'm in the ft. worth area for about a week And i noticed Brenspeed opened a shop in dallas.Ive been looking into getting a tune and ive noticed nobody really mentions these guys for the 5.0 as much as they do for the 3v.Does anybody have any experience/opinions with their tunes on these cars.Right now i wanna go with Aed since its what the majority of you recommend, but i figured since i was here i could pic up the tuner instead of waiting for it to be mailed.I dont have my car here im in a company truck.

I had a bad experiance with them on my Bullitt (not a 5.0, I know). Thier customer service after the sale sucked, and I cannot recommend them at all.

Eric is one of the best tuners out there. He just does not have a ton of nut swingers or pays people to troll the boards and pump up his business. His tunes have the best drivability around. Very smooth and pulls through the whole rpm band.

this is discouraging as I just ordered from them, who is a good tuner that doesn't charge for changes (that's not bama) I don't really wanna pay every time I make a little change here and there like a different exhaust setup or adding a cai or bigger injectors stuff like that I don't mind paying if I add a FI or nos but all the other little stuff I think is redicioulous u have to pay for rivisions for

these cars are too complicated to expect tuners to make countless revisions for free IMO.

there is no simple on-off switch for things like on previous cars (over simplified I know but it gets to the point) with these cars, everything has to be scaled & tweaked even for some (what most consider anyway) mild mods.

there are a few tuners that have proven themselves to be the top go to guys when it comes to these cars, I'd stick with them & gladly pay them (if they ask you to) for a revision.

a quick search should lead you to the top folks.

I've only had a couple and the first was from Bama. No issues with Bama and it was good for what it was. When I decided to go FI, Justin at VMP has done my tuning and no issues there either. I agree, there are a few out there that are really good with these cars, do some research and go with the one that you feel most comfortable with.

Same story here. Car has never run better

But I've also heard many good things about JPC. Wouldn't hesitate to get a tune from them either

I have a 3v but I use brenspeed and haven't had any problems and what problems iv had have not been anything tuning related.

Only downside iv noticed is I had a dyno tune done in Indiana in 40 degrees or colder it was great tuning weather. made like 436/368 then added intercooler pulley and gears dynode in texas on a HOT day and made 425/380 But car now pulls tremendously harder then before. (butt dyno)

Im going to the track this weekend to see if I can get my 11.99 or better pass. If not tearing into suspension and weight reduction.
