I saw this thread over in the sixxer section, figured we could make one over here. If your like me I get on here to see what other people do to there mustangs to get ideas of what to do to mine (and like to look at pictures!). Anything from performance mods to custom painting in the interior could be thrown around here. I will start it off... I added SLP Loudmouth exhaust to my 2008 GT over the weekend, I will add pics tomorrow!

I've been driving with only 3 nuts on my strut mounts for about a month waiting for a good deal on some CC plates since they usually come up on s197 every other day...
Ya know, until you need them, and then they're not around. Shoulda sold something to get those HD plates from you months ago! FML.

I don't *need* anything for my car. I just browse the classifieds till something in my future build list pops up, and then i jump on it. I'd have gotten the cc plates when i found the desired mfg.

What strut mounts? I've got a set of GT500s going on my car soon and I've heard of them breaking, and seen a few break recently. Hopefully it doesn't happen to me.

No, I have the headers, not the mid pipe. Why do I not you ask? Because I am really close to getting a skydiving rig so I can stop renting them. But mark my words, by the end of summer they will be on there. With hot rods :lol

Honestly, it was a bonehead move on my part and I should have known better. The torque specs for the strut bolts is something silly like 65 ft/lbs which is NOTHING with a 1/2 inch wrench.
Just check the torque specs and use a torque wrench and don't get too excited with them. I find it so odd that all the other bolts are like 473 ft/lbs but those are a fairy's fart away from shearing right off. Thanks for that one, Ford. They'll never FEEL completely tight, but if the torque wrench says it is, leave that **** alone.
