I saw this thread over in the sixxer section, figured we could make one over here. If your like me I get on here to see what other people do to there mustangs to get ideas of what to do to mine (and like to look at pictures!). Anything from performance mods to custom painting in the interior could be thrown around here. I will start it off... I added SLP Loudmouth exhaust to my 2008 GT over the weekend, I will add pics tomorrow!

Let me guess, tried to low ball because of turbo kit? I guess from their perspective (if this is what happened), it is sort of a liability. They can't easily tune or fix it unless they outsource it which will cost money.
Dealers like 100% stock cars. Easy to sell. The previous owner of my Mustang had some extra stuff on it they took off (all cosmetic). I would have bought it with it, but a lot of people won't.

dropped it off at the body shop! should be done friday, cant believe only one place in town will put my swap my rims out so I can send them back to am

Wait— what? You're dropping your car off at a body shop so that they can swap out your wheels, and you have to wait 'til Friday?! Why aren't you just doing it in your driveway?

I think he said before he had a couple chips in the wheels and AM sent him new ones. (Without tires) so he had to go have them swapped out.

well long story short, when I took it to ford to have rims swapped out the ford tire dude went to put one of the rims inside my car and hit the side of my car with the rim, chipped the paint and made two small dents and a scratch, then they told me they couldnt do it and tried sending me home with the damage, of course I do a.walk around to ensure they dont **** my car up and find the damage from the rim on my car. I almost blew up and punched a tire dude in the head, luckily I had my son with me and Istayed calm enough. so I got the manager and told him I couldnt believe they tried to **** me. then stated if he would have told me he messed up i wouldnt have.gotten upset because accidents happen. so in short they are fixing my car at the body shop for free, then when I pick it up friday I am taking it to get the rims swapped out since all four I got from AM had chips from them mounting the tires... having some **** luck! plus my fridge **** out at the house and I lost some car funds.....ahhhhhhbhh...lol

Right! I remember you posting that. What makes me angry about that is if you'd driven 2 ft. off the dealership property they would've said "Nope. Can't fix it for free. How do I know you didn't just hit something?"

The turbo install is not going so swell. If someone offers a Zimmers Performance Fabrication kit used, better be cheap. What an expensive lesson.
